The house in garden is designed for a two generation family, parents with children living more or less independently. Therefore it is conceived as two houses. The one a pole house on pilotis, the other as a walled living garden. Each house having it’s own entrance. At the same time it can also be regarded as one house, because some of the important spaces are shared by both parts.
